i adore vintage ornaments — in fact, it’s pretty much all i hang on my tree each year. to start celebrating the season of giving, my lovely sponsor greenhouse design studio is giving a set of vintage ornaments away to one lucky sfgirlbybay reader.

and, if you’re in the bay area, stop by makeshift society this friday evening, december 7th, from 5 to 9pm for a holiday trunk show hosted by greenhouse design studio — it’s also the hayes valley holiday block party so stroll on over and drop in to see us!

  1. I love giving people a meal out because them we get to talk and catch up, which is very important when there are so few hours in the day to see everyone you want.

  2. I’m a sucker for those cutting boards. It’s hard to find them in the antique stores where I’m from, and in a world of plastic, they’re a versatile, environmentally-friendly choice for anyone that wields a knife in the kitchen.

  3. Wonderful giveaway idea! The lovely large letterpress blocks in “merci” truly are lovely and would make a great gift for anyone loving design and typography.

  6. I think the carpe diem mugs would make a great gift! I love the elegant lettering on them, and I feel like mugs are a great gift for anyone – you can never have too many, since they always break, get lost, etcetera. I’m already following you on Twitter – my u/n is @See_Creatures. :)

  11. I love the beeswax songbirds and think they’re the perfect gift! They’re charming, great for bringing warmth into the home during winter, and would even be especially lovely during the spring.

  14. Love the Liberty Pillow Covers – fun pop of pattern and color to brighten up my black leather couch (similar to yours, Victoria!). The Paris Travel Set also makes me nostalgic for France and eager to plan a trip back again!
