i could live here: the thrifted home.
by french by design comment

hello, si from the french by design blog here. today’s i could live here home tour is going to please vintage lovers and thrift shoppers because we’re visiting the home of professional antique hunters mark and sally baileys, located in Wales.

this is the new home of mark and sally baileys, from baileys home and garden, and authors of bestselling interior design books. this famous, very handy and ingenious couple, with a unique eye and passion for everything old, remodeled themselves an old farmhouse in clyro, wales, using rescued, repurposed and cleverly reused vintage pieces. i have a major crush on the bed headboard made out of found wood planks and old store signs. this house is packed with ingenious ideas to steal and proves that vintage and thrift shopping is not just a trend but a true state of mind for mark and sally baileys.

  1. What a beautiful place! And I love the details of the legs of the bed (see in no. 7 and the bottom of no. 9 on your left), but it’s looked like the mattress could fell off if you go crazy on that bed.
