i love following light locations — a photographic location agency in the U.K. the homes they make available for photo shoots are endlessly eclectic and full of vintage treasures — i suppose being in merry olde england helps. it is after all, old. there’s a new one their roster of rentables an east sussex farmhouse i’d love to spend a long weekend in. i really like this unexpected mix of mid-century modern with the cozy kinda shabby chic look. and all that light and airy light is lovely too. a light location indeed.

  1. so i’m always jealous when i see cute party ideas/ installations that need a big, blank wall. i could never have a big blank wall- i get too excited and want to put stuff up- but i love the idea of putting a big mirror draped with lights leaning on the wall. still fun, but easy to move when you want something special up.

  2. We rent a flat in a regency house in merry olde england, this is pretty much the look I’m going for! Light, bright and simple

  3. I love that stove! It’s an AGA am I correct? I’ve never seen one in an America kitchen though…hmmmm….perhaps one day mine will have one! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Even smaller world – I just styled a shoot there last week – it’s even better in the flesh! And the village is unbelievably pretty. The bathroom is Pigeon from F & B – had to ask the owner as it was so great.
