unexpected collections.

i love this home featured in the latest issue of covet garden — so many unexpected but clever collections. this is the lovely Leslieville, canada home of registered massage therapist Michelle, and her motorcycle boy Glen, and their pup Sadie. i love how they’ve seamlessly combined their collections — there appears to be a lot of thought behind the form and function of their very airy and vintage-inspired home. a motocycle helmet next to a gold mirror? yeah, let’s do it! i’d probably never think to add a gold gilt mirror over a vintage ice box cabinet either, but look how that works so well together. just a lovely juxtaposition. for the whole house tour, visit covet garden.

  1. Have you ever heard of the Interior Designer, Atelier AM? They have a lovely coffee table book showcasing some of their work that was recently released and it might be of interest to you! They are based in LA and do work all across the US. The photography in the book is beautiful as are the designs and it reminds me of some images you post on your blog.

  2. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing this! I was so happy to see my artwork in the background of one these photos… such a sweet surprise. That’s never happened to me before!

  3. Oh I just loved this issue and house too-especially because of the collections! All I can think about is a vintage fan collection now!
