one of my very favorite shops in paris, merci now has an online shop. Merci is a dreamy little shop in the heart of the historic district of Haut-Marais. Bernard and Marie-France Cohen, founders of BONPOINT, the charming children’s fashion label, realized that Paris lacked a place which would bring together the best of the world of fashion, of design, and of household goods complete with a welcome cafe — including a lovely library with over 10,000 books on their shelves. there’s also a cafe located downstairs for busy shoppers to grab a gourmet bite. indeed, merci is a place you must visit on your next trip to paris. but in the meanwhile, merci has brought their lovely wares online — we are in luck! i thought it would be fun if merci gave us a little french lesson in their new inventory! ouí!

  1. I’ve heard so much about this shop since it opened. Bri from DesignLoveFest also mentioned it in her Paris post.
Next time I’m in Paris (hopefully sooner than later) I must go stop in. All of their stuff looks amazing.

  2. What a fantastic shop! I was in Paris a couple of years back and fell in love with the whole city and its abundance of amazing, unexpected places like this

  3. What an amazing place! I want to go to Paris right now :) I love the font’s you’re using for this post Victoria. Would you mind sharing what the script is?

  4. I visit Merci at least three or four times a month. There varying monthly installations, designer features never ceases to amaze me. When I know I’m going there for lunch or tea (yes, they have three eateries on site) I take my camera and snap away. Art and commerce at it’s best. Each time I have a visitor, I take them to Merci and they fall in love with Paris all the more.
