it’s been another (sigh) gray weekend in the bay area. i guess our summer is here — darn it. so i’m looking to be cheered up artificially today. lots of fresh white and colorful pops of accessorizing in a very scandinavian way. you all seemed to enjoy the colorful kitchens i shared a few weeks ago, so now i’m spreading the love throughout the house. color me happy — even if i have to do it through decor!

It was a pretty gray weekend here in NYC, too-but I’m loving all these rooms! I like that they have a solid neutral base and bring the color in through accents.

I am a huge fan of mis-matched chairs. The mix of design and colours is beautiful here.
I’m actually enjoying the fog and that familiar, stiff breeze off the ocean.
If it gets to be too much, there’s always a quick trip over a bridge to warmer climates.
So lucky we get a choice, unlike most other parts of the country.
So pretty, I love the turquoise table and pink fridge! xx

This is great but a bit too colourful for my liking.
