park slope studio.

if you’re headed to new york anytime soon, you might consider staying in a cozy and comfortable studio apartment in the hearth of park slope, brooklyn. your airbnb hostess is ilenia martini, a contributor here on sfgirlbybay — who also took all of these lovely photographs. ilenia and her husband are off in london for a year, so their studio is available for short term rentals while they’re away. the space is charming, with great attention to detail and the mid century modern accents offer a stylish and very livable space. Their studio it’s only two blocks away from Prospect Park and it’s even dog friendly! located on a classic Brooklyn block, just few steps away from great coffee shops, bookstores, food and local brooklyn hangouts. the apartment face the backyard, offering up a very quiet and peaceful space — a nice alternative to hectic new york. for more beautiful brooklyn images, be sure and visit ilenia’s blog.

  1. Wonderfull studio (great black & white motif ) and I love the neighborhood! I just signed a petition to keep airbnb in NYC as they sent me an e-mail a few days ago saying the state attorney general has subpoenaed their NY city members records and they were trying to block the action – evidently there’s an archaic law on the books saying it’s illegal to rent NY. Best of luck as I love places like this and I love airbnb:-)

  2. This has got me thinking about having a retreat with my business partner (Karen June, Wouldn’t it be great to rent a space like this for a week to just concentrate on our hand-built blog and business? I’d love to be in a space that syncs with my own aesthetic and where we could step out for dinner to celebrate the brainstorming that’s going on every day! Thanks for the vision, Victoria!

  3. I love this apartment. both the inside and the outside. My favorite pictures are the outside staircase with pots and plants and the wreath
