sukha amsterdam.

Sukha-Amsterdam is a gorgeous shop in the centre of Amsterdam and well known for an eco-friendly mindset and a preference for handicraft, unique items and labels. Founder Irene Mertens carefully curates items with sustainable backgrounds, usually Dutch designed or produced. Irene redecorated the Sukha shop last month showcasing “no colour at all beside all the beautiful shades of white, grey, a little black and naturals! From Sukha’s website, “Visiting the Sukha store is a wonderful experience with one-off poems and doodles that put a smile on your face. Sukha means ‘joy of life’ in Sanskrit – Sukha simply is, a bundle of joy!” You can learn more on Sukha’s website, or shop online on their online shop.

  1. I’ve been seeing shots of their store floating around the web and I’ve wondered about I – it’s so nice to finally see the whole store together in one post! It looks fantastic, an incredible display or nordic taste and aesthetic!

  2. I love everything here, but the hammock with decorations that float around it, like snowflakes coming from the sky – simply divine! I want to do something like this in my apt. at Christmas time.

The necklace, however, seems to be pistachios. This would be a waste of money for me, because I’d end up eating them, hahahaha!!!
