Today marks the end of the first month of 2014 and the beginning of a new lunar year. My mother has always cautioned that what we do on day one sets the tone for the rest of our year. Call it superstition, but let’s find a moment to do something we love today. (Mine was making this post.)

Happy Friday,

  1. Nice! You know, some other blogs do similar “finds” posts but I think Annie’s are the best. I always end up looking at every single find–and normally I don’t do that. :-) Happy weekend guys.

  2. Hi Annie,
Wow, I made a major life decision this morning and here I come and find what you said about your Mom and the beginning of the new lunar year. I will take this as a positive sign that I have made the right decision . Thank you for this great post today.

  3. I really love your mom’s notion about sending good vibes for oneself about a great year ahead! Pressure is on to do something amazing and worthy today :)

  4. love all of these finds. Then again i am such a sucker for this kind of style (amongst others which i really love as well). loving white with light woods with a clean modern design and natural linens hanging in the closet. reminds me a lot of the clean style in japan.
