i got a lovely email from sydney, australia-based interior stylist mr. jason grant inviting me to share with you his bright and beautiful Bondi beachside apartment. featured in this month’s inside out magazine and photographed by Lauren Bamford, jason’s home is one of those sunny spaces that make you feel right at home. perhaps it’s no surprise then that his current book is entitled A Place Called Home: Creating Beautiful Spaces to Call Your Own — you may recall, i shared his book with you a while back.

i’m in love with the beachy, but very modern color scheme, and minimalist but cheerful space. great photography prints adorn the walls and now all i really is want a large plant, roots and all floating in a big glass vase. doesn’t that look super cool? if you like these shots by lauren bamford, just wait — some of these glorious shots will also be featured in jason’s new book due for worldwide release this september. you can keep up to date and read more about jason on his website, mr. jason grant. thanks for sharing, jason and lauren!

  1. It is certainly a very lovely home – but after awhile all these rooms start to look the same. I think I am experiencing burn-out. Sorry!!

  2. Friends warned me how hard it can be to achieve a flawless finish in white, so I resisted it for years. I was also told it was a tough choice to live with and keep clean, but I am seeing it everywhere in my house hunting. It just makes every other color pop.

I finally painted my studio white and I love it so much that I want it in my new home too.
As you can see from my property tours, you can’t go wrong with bright white!

  3. Can we talk about that brown bag casually thrown on the floor? Where is it from, it’s amazing! Looks close but not quite a Givenchy nightingale bag?
