i like a nice bit of mix + match when it comes to the patterns i wear. i still wear a lot of classic black and white, and some neutrals too, but it’s much more fun to put an unexpected and playful pairing together — a subtle floral print with a little faux leopard? sure why not. i like preppy, but with little twist. a striped blouse with a faux fur? yep. maybe it’s a little margot tenenbaum meets jenna lyons — but whatever it is, it’s the brush with something you don’t quite expect that makes an outfit interesting to me.
