i’m in love with the non-chalant elegance of this european home shared on vintagency. this is the amazing photo tour of stylist jadwina pokryszka’s home in berlin — in Neukölln, an up and coming neighborhood big on night life, but she’s lived in this charming old apartment for ten years, before the area became popular. her home is filled with well-loved collectibles and mid-century modern treasures — including an amazing verner panton carpet i might commit crimes for. she’s a collector after my own heart, “Even as a child I was fascinated by old furniture. That has not changed to this day.” — but it’s that very unfussy, casual and seemingly unpremeditated ambiance that really makes me love this space. the kind of chic you just can’t learn — it’s just in the genes. for the full interview and entire home tour, visit vintagency.

  1. i love this space, that black + white circular rug is fantastic! rugs can do such wonderful things for a room, our designer at red often times will add a rug into a room as the final touch + really tie everything together.

  2. Soo good. Is that little mouse actually woven into the pattern or just an errant cat toy laying there? Either way, really great. Love how much the living room drapes add with that strong but perfect graphic! Dramatic yet perfectly balanced with the room it comes off low key. Wow!
