there’s something so fresh looking about a bit of mid-century furnishings against a background of neutral white walls — vintage danish modern at its best. add a pop of lush green plant life to spaces full of natural wood furniture and rooms seem to get even more vibrant and alive. i love this look and wouldn’t mind a modern retreat somewhere in the california redwoods decorated around this theme. looks mighty peaceful and relaxing.

Super beautiful examples of how to work the mid-century style and incorporate greens into the home. I have to pin now:-) Thanks for sharing, Victoria!!
That planter in the last photo is DOPE!
In love with the geometric plant stand! I’m about to attempt a himmeli wall piece for my air plants.
YEP. Pretty much obsessed with each of these photos.
Love everything!!!!
Great atmosphere. Airy and love the painted floor!
Hi Victoria, what a lovely round-up!
Thanks for the inclusion of Rebecca & Bruce Meissner’s home. In case anyone is wondering, that planter was designed and made by Cape Town, South Africa based design collective, ThingKing and comes in various sizes and configurations.

What a well collected pics of mid-century! One have to be very careful to inject the right amount of mid-century, to not overdose it. I love, lust the planter at the last pic!
Yes! Mid-century modern is my favorite design aesthetic… thanks for sharing these!
