For the past year I’ve been completely obsessed with filling my flat with houseplants — ferns, succulents, vines and air plants — you name it. I’m always looking for a new way to display my little green housemates, which is why I love the look of London-based Isabelle Palmer’s newest book The House Gardener. With beautiful photos by Helen Cathcart and funky, innovative ways to display greenery throughout the home, each of these spreads could almost be torn out and framed as art. Isabelle is the owner of The Balcony Gardener, an online boutique garden shop that features quirky ready made environments or all of the supplies to create your own.

  1. Great post. I have been so eager to buy plants now that summer is here. I really want air plants, as they look amazing and seem easy to care for. It’s hard to have lots of plants though, since my cats always eat them!
