the folks at san francisco-based Hygge & West sent me some snaps of their delectable new wallpaper collection designed especially by Rifle Paper Co., and i couldn’t be more excited to share. you’ve heard, pineapples are trending, right? how did that happen — who thought we’d be so into pineapples? i would like to have been at that table when someone said, “pineapples are the new owls” — but, i digress. sorry!

what i wanted to do is to share this stunning, and yet whimsically fun wallpaper from hygge & west. With six brand new designs offered in three to four color ways, the wallpapers have a hand painted feel – a departure from the Hygge & West style of graphic design. i love everything i’ve laid my hands on from anna bond’s rifle paper co., so their new pineapple print wallpaper for hygge & west had me at aloha (ahem, sorry). be sure to check out the entire collection from rifle paper Co. — from an adorable city toile, to sweet peonies it’s all perfect for creating some modern drama on your walls.

  1. love the green-backed pineapple pattern too. back in the days the pineapple used to be a symbol for welcome/hospitality i think. who knows where that idea came from.
