i’m not sure which part of this marvelous modernist home i love best. featured in the latest issue of inside out magazine, this is the sydney, australia-based home of Interior stylist and buyer Karen Kelly Tarasin. i think if i had to choose just one room i could occupy it might have to be this stunning black + white kitchen, with those great louvered windows looking out onto that lush green garden — i think i could cook here all the darn day. the house has great bones, and it looks as though the modernist collections very much belong here — simply well-loved, classic pieces, with not a lot of extraneous knick-knacks — so inspiring for someone like me who has such difficulty discarding unnecessary objects. for the whole beautiful home tour, visit inside out.

  1. Gorgeous, gorgeous home! I especially love seeing those louvered glass windows. I have a bunch. So great for bringing fresh air inside. So bad for security. I love them anyway.

  2. What a beautiful home. That credenza and the nested bedside tables especially! I love the small doses of color too, like the blue throw pillow on the sofa.
