“small, but charming” — i always get a bit wary when i see apartment listings using that phrase, but in this case, there’s no disappointment whatsoever. this tiny apartment exudes rustic, Scandinavian charm, but the wall panels which are made of wood were painted white in order to match the décor, brighten and open up the space. with white walls and ceilings it’s the perfect neutral background for the smatterings of bold and bright elements, and their lovely vintage-modern collectibles don’t overwhelm the small space.

  1. We have a super small place as well and we love it – You real have to maximize every inch of space but its so homey – I wouldn’t change it for the world. Love this space – especially the kitchen!!

  2. Oh my gosh what a fabulous space! I am always so impressed when people are able to decorate a small apartment and store all their items but still have it feel very open and roomy. I love the bright white and fun pops of color, that blue door = fabulous!
They seems as though they really thought out the design and their storage, from under the kitchen counter to the closet area behind the door.
What a great find, thanks for sharing!

  3. What a beautiful space! As a convert to small space living, I’m always thrilled to see the incredible transformations that can take place when there aren’t loads of rooms to take care of. While my small space still looks quite similar to a dorm room, it’s good to be inspired and know it’s possible! :)

  4. I love that kitchen! It has me swooning. Oh, how I wish I could redo my walls to a wonderul white! We just painted some vibrant colors, though, so it will have to wait a few years.
