i’m such a big fan of the work from photographer pauliina salonen. i was first introduced to pauliina’s work by interior stylist laura seppänen, whose home we shared last week, and once before here. laura’s always changing up her pretty space, and pauliina is beautifully capturing those makeovers, as well as shooting for interiors magazine, like deko. i love the clean, white, but super bright images pauliina captures of these inspiring scandinavian interiors. have a look, and then pop over and feast your eyes on the rest of pauliina salonen’ beautiful portfolio.

favorite accessory is the giant kitty ;)
Thanks, Richele. Glad I’m not the only one wondering if they have been feeding small dogs to that cat! Are we, in fact, certain that it IS a cat and not a previously undiscovered urban life form.
Least favorite accessory is the little black servant statue. Sheesh. Not surprised that a Scandinavian thinks nothing of having disturbing and racist imagery as decor (I’ve lived in Scandinavia and it is hardly the racism-free paradise Scandinavians—and outsiders—often think it is) but I am surprised and sadly disappointed to see it on this site without comment.
I’m so sorry, Michelle. I meant no offense at all. I’ll delete that image – thank you for bringing it to my attention. I was looking at the overall image, and I must have been too busy to notice it late last night.
Such great shots! I love all the loft spaces he’s photographed – such great scandinavian style!
Amazing interiors, above all the kitchen and great shots ;)
hI,
Are you able to tell me where the ‘wave’ throw on the double bed is from? I’m trying to source one.
Many thanks, Caroline
I am wondering where you got the zellige tiles for the kitchen and what color they are ?
