women & whiskies meets clubhouse caravan / sfgirlbybay

last week photographer cindy loughridge and i loaded up my car with lots of fun cocktail accoutrement from women & whiskies and met up with the lovely ladies who run clubhouse caravan and created our own little whiskey-warming winter wonderland. the clubhouse caravans are adorable, exceedingly charming, and happily, available to rent for events and parties! partners Ames Simpson and Susan Donaldson, and Susan’s husband, Scheffer Ely have lovingly rebuilt four vintage trailers into spaces that reflect the inspiration and spirit behind their name: a nostalgia for the clubhouses of their childhood. what better place to mix up a batch of holiday cocktails, right?

women & whiskies mixed us up a yummy cocktail recipe for me to make that had the men of the speer family christmas tree lot more than a little curious. sorry, guys — this time the whisky’s just for us women!

i put on my bartending cap and got to work mixing up some delicious canadian punch! you can find this recipe below as well as a bunch of other swell holiday cocktails on the women & whiskies website. this cocktail is made with forty creek copper pot whisky, appleton estate, fresh pineapple juice and a healthy squeeze of lemon zest, so it’s extra refreshing. for more fun recipes and cocktail party ideas follow women & whiskies on instagram.
