i’m heading to NYC at the end of the month, so i’ve definitely got a new york state of mind — gathering must-see new spots to check out while i’m there. one of them is Nalata Nalata. After starting Nalata Nalata as an e-tailer of beautiful home wares, the shop has now embarked on the opening of their very own brick-and-mortar store featuring well-curated lifestyle products with an interesting story behind them. Located just off the Bowery on 1st street in new york, Nalata Nalata is proud to occupy a corner spot on the historic Extra Place alley — the same location as the popular pop-up shop they held just a year ago.

owners of the new Nalata Nalata flagship shop hope not only to act as a meeting ground for design enthusiasts, but also as a neighborhood host to exhibitions and events year round. i can’t wait for my upcoming visit at the end of the month — will definitely be Visiting Nalata Nalata at 2 Extra Place, New York City. but never fear if you’ve not got new york on your radar for the new year, Nalata Nalata is all set for online shopping, too.

  1. Nice looking shop! Very much reminds me of Mjolk here in Toronto, which sells contemporary Japanese and Swedish design objects. Will add it to my Globe Trotting Pinterest board!
