i think everyone’s goal of late, is to have less stuff. or at the very least, just stuff that matters to us, is useful and meaningful. but sometimes, no matter how you purge, you need a pretty spot to stash your belongings that look great, too. so — armoires are a great stash spot, and small, vintage cabinets. they have a unique look, but they’re functional, too — which is what you need. either painted bold and bright as statement makers, or a subdued off-white pieces that blend into your space, these kinds of cabinetry really do the trick when it comes to practical, but stylish storage.

This is so true. The older you get (the wiser you get ..ofcourse) you realize that you really don’t need alot of clothes, bags, books etc etc. I’ve been living now for 2 years in my new home and i still have some stuff that are in storage at my parents in law, but i realized lately that i don’t need those stuff anymore. So off to the market they will go soon. Love all the yellow cabinets btw.
Great storage ideas!
These are so great! Loved the second one with the metal and glass, it looks so unique.

Oh ya, less clutter means more room for all those pretty decorations! I am loving these storage options by the way. My favorite is probably the light pink one.

So true – I’m trying to minimise the “stuff” in my life in a big way. Not only for my piece of mind – it saves me money and the environment :) Love the storage ideas, although I’d still have to be careful to keep the decorations to a minimum – I do love them but I hate dusting!!
I am a big fan of cabinets and wardrobes and love all these you’ve shown! My bedroom closet is a really long, walk-in closet and I have so few clothes that I don’t need it all for clothes. Am trying to justify getting a wardrobe to put in my bedroom so that I can devote the big closet solely to organized storage! I’m in a one bedroom condo with limited storage so that storeroom of a closet would come in handy. Now to pick which wardrobe would be best….
gosh, these are gorgeous!!! I have a request about the whites in these pictures. Is there anyway to get the white paint used for any of the white walls? I am going nuts trying to find the right white.
i use Benjamin Moore’s Aura paint in Oxford White and love it!
Stumbled across your page on Pinterest, and I love the second cabinet you have pictured (the white one with glass doors). Can you tell me where it is from? Thanks!
Hi there, I think that one might be vintage, but Ikea has a similar one:
