leslie from spotted sf here and i’m delighted to share the beautiful work and design space of san francisco-based studiopatró, makers of these fine, individually handprinted, and naturally sustainable linen tea towels, napkins, aprons, and market bags.

proprietress christina weber began her career as a fine art teacher, a graphic designer, as well as art director of photography working alongside many talented stylists and chefs. these experiences naturally led her to start studiopatró about five years ago—and the linen towel became her blank canvas for her designs. “useful” and “beautiful” are the two words that inspire her work and her home. her well-chosen palette and prints suit just about anyone, whether your preference is bold and bright or you like things more natural. they’re perfect gifts and great essentials for the home, as each piece becomes more softer and loved as they’re used over time.

the studio is located in san francisco’s north beach area and can be visited by appointment and when an open studio is hosted. all the linens are available online, but you can also catch christina at some of the best makers markets and craft fairs, including remodelista and west coast craft where she is a regular favorite.
