In 1997, Tokuhiko Kise and Hiromi Karatsu created TRUCK, an Osaka-based furniture shop with one philosophy: to make the things they want. Their work has been an ode to the simplicity and practicality of that philosophy. I made it a point to visit the store during my recent adventures in Japan and brought back snapshots of this timeless beauty (though pictures don’t do it justice).
