i’ve been pinning since 2010, when pinterest was just a baby — i think when i started there were less than 50 people on there, and co-founder ben silbermann invited me to try it out. it’s since blew up like nobody’s business and has millions of people pinning inspiring images every day. it’s one of my main sources for inspiration and at present i have over 142 different boards — sharing everything from bathing beauties, to a few of my personal favorite boards, aqualand, blushing beauty, and even mister sfgirlbybay — revealing all my secret celebrity guy crushes. hey, a girl can dream. i thought i’d share a few of my favorite and very current pins. i hope they inspire you, too.
clockwise, l to r: lovely food styling and a recipe for cantaloupe sorbet, via migalha doce; fun dishes from oui; an interesting photo of andy warhol; love the idea of painting your favorite phrase, via the interior archive; one of my favorite styling inspirations, carrie donovan; i couldn’t resist adding this little parrot to my green day board.
this drought tolerant garden from a growing obsession is the ultimate inspiration for my new front yard.
i like the idea of growing a heart vine on the side of my house; and an outdoor shower is something i’ve always wanted, via share design; this is a pretty rad muscle car, via mija; a very inspiring, but simple staircase, via camille styles; gorgeous tiles from exquisite surfaces; and beautiful ceramics from little upside down cake, via the style files.
These colors are beautiful. So soft and subtle, but theres so much great architectural design! I love it. I also love the phrase painting. I’m working on a ton of paintings around my house, and might just have to use that idea! Thank you for sharing!

I love this kitchen as well <3 I've recently changed my kitchen cabinets for white ones and it made the space look much more neat and fresh than it was with apricot color. And looking at this picture additionally confirmed my opinion. I think that wooden floor and the rug plays their roles really well.
The ivy heart is, I believe, the one in my town – Bellingham, WA. It’s on the side of an old granary that was part of the GP paper plant. It’s currently being redeveloped and I HOPE the heart stays. It’s kind of become our town’s logo.
I simply cannot get enough of pinning. Its like shopping except my bank account loves it so much more!
