there’s a brand new way to print your photos and instagrams in town, and that’s a free App called parabo press from the team at PhotojojoParabo is a new kind of print service, inspired by small batch printing techniques, created for photographers, makers, designers and good taste-havers who want to show off their photos in unexpected ways. i’ve been printing a ton of their products (in fact they sent out a few of my images in their press kit!) and i even printed a giant cocktail menu for a party. the really cool thing is the quality — from my small instagram shots came great high resolution prints, even in their newsprints at 22×17 in full gorgeous color.

right from your phone you can turn any photos into human-sized black and white engineer prints, really cool color newsprints folded in quarters, screen print quality, high contrast risographs, geometric photo mobiles and square prints. they’re all under $30 and parabo ships them right to your door. you can even print hardbound books for just $59. i can dream up endless possibilities for these prints — i’m thinking of making holiday gifts, or maybe a unique christmas card from the square prints. i know photographers who plan on selling prints of their work from the parabo newsprints. in the meantime i’ve got a bunch of them hanging in my office along my inspiration wire, and on my walls. there’s also fun hardware like their mylar tape, wood poster rails and these cool skeleton clips to hang your prints — the look really gorgeous hanging up, and i’ve been having a hard time keeping them hush hush until the parabo app launched. but parabo press is live now, so here’s a sneak peek at what you can make!

  1. I’m excited to try this. Side note: Where does your wall hanging system come from- I’ve been looking for something just like this for art that the kiddo has made, and after seeing the work, prints from Parabo!!

  2. Love this, I can’t wait to try the new app. I also love the way the images look once printed and manipulated. I’ve been wanting to order the large Engineered Prints.
