The Springs co-Founders, Jared Stein and Kimberly Helms, first encountered the Los Angeles Arts District in 2013 while on tour with a Broadway show and knew it would be perfect spot for the community wellness center they had envisioned. They were determined to create an oasis for city-dwellers that lived up to health-conscious lifestyle choices all the while remaining accessible to folks who might otherwise shy away from words like “raw food” and “juice bar,” and opened The Springs in October of 2014.
The Springs offers a variety of raw, vegan dishes that don’t necessarily feel vegan. It’s first and foremost delicious and well made food that happens to be vegan. With large garage doors on either end, the aptly named space is filled with ample light and a constant breeze; it’s refreshing and rejuvenating. And between the yoga, wellness center, jazz, restaurant, juices, cocktails, communal work space, outdoor patio and the small shop up front, you really could stay here all day.
Hi Victoria,
Do you know the artist who painted the blue outdoor wall mural?
It’s terrific looking!
Thank’s for the post and yesterday’s home tour via Milk. Just the best!
I’m not sure, but I’ll try and find out! And, thanks! :)
They yellow chairs really do it for me – I feel that’s a colour that, especially in a pale form, has been way underappreciated.
