  1. These are beautiful colors! I love the color you painted your home, its so unexpected and yet so classic, great job! I’m moving into a new apartment in just a few weeks and can’t wait to paint and make it my own. Citrus Blast and Iceberg are just two of my favorites ;)

  2. So i have vinyl siding so I can’t use the Aurora exterior– could I sub out for Revive? Well, a girl can dream and in this winning scenario, I think I would paint in Kennebunkport Green.

  3. Still obsessed with anything pale pink/blush, so my #1 is Sheer Pink. Lafayette Blue for the roof of my porch (a necessity in the south). And Dunmore Green is the perfect combination of moss and mint….so gorgeous.

  4. I adore the dark houses I see in the Bay. We are getting ready to close on a house in the Central Valley, though, and the intense sun and heat doesn’t work well with dark colors. I like Mount Saint Anne, or really anything in the gray family! [Twitter: @lori_rice]

  5. I want to paint the exterior of my home with the historic colors of Amherst Gray with the trim in Wickham Gray. The doors need to be more colorful-Graceful Sea.

  6. We are needing to paint our home soon and will use our indoor color palette outside as well. We are wanting to paint the siding and trim simply white, the shutters Kendall charcoal and the doors gentleman’s gray.

  7. I would SOOOOO love to win this giveaway!

We just moved into a little house that is a legit Nickelodeon orange. Really, really orange. With eggshell blue accents. It’s awful. We’ll hopefully be painting once the snow melts. I’d LOVE to go with a dark gray color (maybe Graphite) with white accents, but I also think that a deep blue/green gray like Newburg Green or Spellbound would be really pretty as well.

  8. I lived on the same street as that beautiful black Vokes Peters house when I was in grad school in Australia, so I am definitely going with onyx black just like you!

  9. I love the BM color titled Soot. I have moved through a couple of Victorian era houses now and I always find a way to incorporate this classic black. The tone is luscious, a beautiful blend to make this monochromatic version of black a little edgier than a single tone version.

  10. Our house desperately needs a new coat of paint! Inspired by your Paint it Black, I’d have to say that I’d love to see our house in Onyx Black as well. Great look!

  11. my husband and I are getting ready to paint our house! We are loving blue suede shoes for a pop of color on the underside of our mid-century modern A-Frame!

  12. I would probably go with a blue-gray like Vermont Slate. Ideally, I would paint it Onyx Black with white trim since I LOVE the high contrast. Sadly, where I live the neighbors probably wouldn’t get it – they are all tearing down beautiful little Mid-century homes to put up McMansions. Ugh. Our house hasn’t been painted in 10 years, so that is going to be our major project this year once the weather warms up! You house turned out beautifully! The black is to die for.

  13. Night Mist for me! I love gray and the name is wonderful. :-) Plus the house is BADLY in need of new paint! Love your black house. :-) The neighbors had one for years and it always looked so cool flanked by their lovely garden.

  14. I’ve been following you for a while and love seeing all the beautiful transformations of your home! Ben Moore paints are simply the best, I would go with desert twilight for our nursery.

  15. Love love love how your house looks in it’s new color!!! I would love to go w/ the Onyx Black, but I can’t seem to convince my husband….yet! As a compromise, I would hope he might agree to Almost Black, Black Iron, or Graphite.

  16. I love the Cake Batter and the Wicker Basket Colors! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

  17. We have two boys and we are converting a spare bedroom into a playroom. Being two boys, I think blue is the best color option. I would go with the Twilight blue for the walls and the Blue Macaw for the trim.

  18. We recently moved into an apartment currently painted beige, I’d love to cover it with a crisp, clean, “snow white.” I’m also loving “romantic pink” and “bunny gray.”

  19. I love north sea, newburyport blue, ebony slatem and burnt ember. Dark is the way to go! Just got siding done so need to paint the exterior!

  20. Oh man! I just moved into a cute new place with very dated gross paint in every room! You know that off white color that almost seems like it’s just dirty..
I did the bathroom with Snow White and an accent wall in Jade Garden. Turned out so great!
I need to paint the rest of the rooms!
For my living room, I would paint an accent wall (trim and door to hide) in Cabana Green with the remaining walls and ceiling with a fresh coat of Snow White!
For the bedroom, the dreamy Pebble Beach with a fresh coat of Snow White for the trim and doors.

  21. Onyx Black is SOOO lovely. I would want to paint a big giant test-swatch first to be sure. . . . . second choice might be Icy Blue. . . . hoorah

  22. picking a favorite benjamin moore color is like picking a favorite star in the sky! But i’ve been dying to paint my living room white–perhaps the “snow white” or the “simply white,” which seems popular right now!

  23. My brick house trim colors are Onyx Black, Carter Gray, and Woodlawn Blue – they are super dreamy together. Other faves include Hale Navy, Irish Moss, Bewitched, Queen Anne Pink, Cream Puff, and Kittery Point Green.

Yes, I have a paint color problem? I didn’t actually look at the key to list those.

  24. The exterior of my house was just painted a dark grey with white and black trim. “Rhubarb” would be a beautiful accent color too!

  25. Cream Puff and Flamingo’s Dream. I’d love to do some accents in gradient coral/pink similar to that lovely SF house on your IG.

  26. I live in a log cabin in the woods so the exterior is log but I really need to paint trim. doors and shutters not sure what color yet but the interior walls that are not logs really need color. I love Peacock Feathers for the walls. And love the On Line Color Gallery from B/M.

  27. Sweet Bluette, is so beautiful & would go beautiful with a grey and plum purple. I love that you can mix it with so many color combos its endless. The pale, calming, tinge of blue is beautiful and would look beautiful on the children’s new play place in the backyard.

  28. I love Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy (currently our bedroom is painted that color!) If we were to paint the exterior of our house (definitely on the list of things to do!) I have no idea where to start. Maybe something like Little Falls (1621)…

  29. Ooh. Our house is 3 stories – the top 2 are aluminum siding medium/pale gray, but the bottom floor? Yuk ugly brick. which we’ve talked of painting for years. It needs to be darker that the top floors, to anchor the house to the ground, and the onyx black is tempting. But maybe that’s too dark. I think Silent Night would be better for the neighborhood. Yep. Definitely. Silent Night.

  30. We have really ugly shutters and door jams, I’d love to give our house an overhaul! I love all of these colors!
    Amethyst Shadow
    Silver Half Dollar
    Claret
    New Dawn
    Proposal

  31. I’m really leaning towards the dusty rose and mauve colors like Magic Potion or Frozen in Time for my bedroom. I’m sure the boyfriend might have other opinions on it though. I AM planning on painting our bedroom soon. It’s still the same beige it was when we moved in 4 years ago, time for a change! (Love Benjamin Moore, I used it in my kitchen/dining room and it went on like a dream.)

  32. My house is currently two different colors (and not in a good way) so I need to win this one more than anything! I have the original ship-lap on my house and we had to re-caulk almost every joint. One day I would love to reside it and paint a really dark gray like Ebony Slate with lots of greenery. Until that day, I am sticking with a lighter gray like Bunny Gray. Crossing my fingers!!

  33. I LOVE sT. pATTYS DAY, pEONY, AND ELECTRIC SLIDE…..ALSO LOVE THE BLACK ON THE HOUSE SIDING……SAWATSON(PINTEREST)
    ANGEL WATSON(FACEBOOK)

  34. Your house looks amazing!!! I have a brick house and would love to paint it Simply White with Witching Hour as the trim and shutter color. I hope it will turn out as good as yours! Also I am obsessed with Seashell, the pink I just painted my closet, it makes me smile everytime I go in there!

  35. This comes at the PERFECT time! We are gearing up to paint the exterior of our home this Spring. We are thinking of something in the grey family. I like deep charcoals and my wife like lighter greys. A few favs are Cobblestone Path, Hearthstone, Dark Pewter, Nightfall, and Shaker Gray. I love Aura paint and have used in on the the kitchen cabinets in our last 2 homes. Such a grey giveaway!

  36. Love your onyx house! My favorite color is probably Gray Owl it would make my dark blue shutters look great. I also really love Ravishing Red, but probably not brave enough to look at my entire house painted that color.

  37. I love Bright Yellow for our new front door, Carbon Copy for the shutters, and for all our interior walls and trim Snow White. We’ve got a lot of painting on front of us! ;)

  38. We are getting ready to paint the exterior of our home in a few weeks. Nimbus, Chelsea Gray and White Dove are some of our favorites. We would be so grateful to win this giveaway!

  39. Where to start?? I’d choose Fairview Blue for my daughter’s playroom, Snow White for our house trim, Iceberg for our master bedroom, and Pink Powderpuff for my office (!). What a great giveaway! :)

  40. Love, love Benjamin Moore paint! We have a 1939 home…Hudson Bay will be perfect. Thanks for the opportunity. Love your black home. Classic.

  41. I’m always a fan of white dove, but have been inspired by you to consider painting my back porch/garage onyx black! @ABSchoenrock

  42. I can’t deny it, the Color Trends 2016 have my interest. I live in this very quaint, and very “colorful” 1918 Bungalow in CO. Not gonna lie, it’s rather awful. But the house itself is charming. My first project to tackle would be the avocado green bathroom…I was thinking a Ballet White or Gray Owl with white trim. That should tone down the sickly looks in the mirror. ;)

  43. I love to paint an accent wall in my bedroom in Waterbury Green. Also, really need to refresh the overall wall color in Willard White.

  44. Strawberry Red and Pineapple Grove for the front door and exterior siding, respectively! @lalissitzky on Twitter, thanks for the great giveaway!

  45. our house is an orangey red brick and the front yard is fully xeriscaped. So I’m thinking fraser fir, mountain lane, or hillside green for the trim. Or maybe mesquite. With a Mexicali turquoise door. Too many choices!

  46. I’ve been dreaming of the day we could paint our house a dark color since we moved in eight (!) years ago. Carefully looked through the Benjamin Moore black color palette to pick the just right, unique color I always envisioned, click, and it’s clever name… Black :)

  47. I just painted our bedroom Angelica and it is an amazing colour that changes subtly but beautifully through the day from soft violet to grey. Love it.

Would love to paint our exterior in Paper White with Gossamer Blue trim.

  48. Having grown up nearby, I especially love the Williamsburg collection – they have such beautiful tones. Really loved Wythe Rose and Coffeehouse Tan.

  49. Your home looks gorgeous. Compliments on a job well done!

As for colors, I love Gardenia AF-10 and Pashmina AF-100.

Thanks for the opportunity to win., This is my first visit to your site, having seen this contest on Twitter.
