nude is simply where it’s at. a nude or pale blush is chic, it’s neutral, and yet, is a very powerful color. think claire underwood’s nude lip color — now that’s a powerful statement. it’s also such a restful color, just don’t underestimate it. it looks great in contrast with gray or black, and pale green, too. and accessorized with rose gold, it’s stunning. i think it’s just one of those tones that while understated, is ultimately very sophisticated. here’s some pale blush nude looks i love.

  1. I just painted the base of my kitchen penisula in a nude color. It should look lovely, but my peninsula is topped with off-white tiles. The tiles and my matching off-white cabinets just look dirty now. This combo just didn’t work.

  2. Aha – so it is a thing! I thought it was just me . A few weeks ago a flesh tint kept creeping into my work and I’ve been mixing it up with a buff and just can’t get enough of it (I have been listening to a lot of SIA and she makes me think pink!). I LOVE bedroom – It’s super dreamy – I love the pink sheepskin and the portrait above is beyond beautiful. Thanks so much for this post – it has inspired a new home x

ps: you do know your cursor / highlighter thingy highlights in pink too?!
