The Ace Hotel in New Orleans…so gorgeous and green! It opened just two weeks ago. I stumbled on it as I was making my way from the city’s Garden District to the French Quarter. Located in the area known as the Warehouse District, the new hotel has taken over a 1920s Art Deco building, and similar to its other properties, it includes a lobby bar, a restaurant, a rooftop pool, event spaces, an intimate music venue and very soon, a Stumptown Café.

i didn’t stay at the hotel, but stopped by for drinks twice. i loved all the hues of green from the entrance and throughout the spaces. and like all aces, vintage and antique furnishings were sourced to highlight the eclectic vibe of the city. you’ll feel a fun mix of french, spanish, and afro-caribbean elements and influences. it’s elegant and charming, yet cool and quirky at the same time. i’ve stayed at and visited many of their other properties, but i think this is their best one yet. definitely consider a stay or a visit here on your next visit.
