meet creative couple Bonnie Ashley and Neil Downie, who together bring their collective backgrounds in floristry, art, textiles, furniture and set design to their melbourne studio Bonnie and Neil. One of Australia’s most popular independent textile design studios, and as is very typically australian, their shop is a kaleidoscope of color and pattern. the couple is known for their vibrant ranges of unique, handmade screen-printed home accessories incorporating botanical motifs and the occasional nod to Australiana culture, influenced by their surroundings and a shared love of color.
launched in 2010 from a small pocket-sized studio with a few local stockists, these days their beautiful handmade, screen printed homewares like artwork, fantastic wall tiles and tablewares can be found in prestigious stores including Anthropologie, Bloomingdales, Le Bon Marche and Liberty. but it’s their own melbourne shop (completely designed by the couple) that has me wanting to hop the next plane to australia — i can’t imagine not coming away from here filled with ideas and inspiration. and fortunately for us, bonnie and neil is online and ship worldwide.

OMG! This is just brilliant! Can’t they move to the US for the rest of us? :-)
at least there’s an online shop – but i concur! :)
Love this!
I just went to have a look in the online shop and now I want every pink wall tile they have, as if I don’t already have enough pink in my home ;-) The patterns are just perfect.
Such an inspiration, thank you for sharing..
A lovely bright and colourful space!
Thanks,
Chloe

I would live here! I know it is a shop but the bold geometric patterns, high-contrast, and lush florals are super drool-worthy. Can you have a crush on a space?
