it’s monday, and sigh — i’d much rather be lazily lounging about this idyllic beach home in south africa. featured recently in inside out magazine, there’s lots of little nuances to love. like the pretty four-poster bed made from reclaimed timber paired with a fancy chandelier — it’s got just the right amount of vintage vibes meets modern minimalist against all that white. the woven black pendant lamps look striking in this light-filled space, too. i also really love the galvanized roof over the bar — painted white it’s much less industrial looking and instead very beach chic. there’s really nothing i don’t like! for the full tour and more about the house, visit inside out.

  1. I love the whole beach house except there’s too much white for my taste. I like shots of color, which it doesn’t have enough of. Aquas, salmons, yellows, maybe even some red. But it sure would be nice to hang out there!
