it’s always nice to make a grand entrance. that’s one thing my new house lacks — there’s no foyer, no entry hall of any kind — you simply step right into what i suppose you’d call a grand room, or a combination dining room / living room space. i love my house, but i do like a nice entryway welcoming you and your guests home. it’s great to decorate them with a good looking bench or credenza stacked with books and mementos, or perhaps a wall of personal photographs. i like an entrance that’s simple, but warm and inviting. something as smashing as a great tile floor can set the right mood for welcoming guests, too. alas, all i’ve got is a mean case of FOMO, so here are a few looks i’d love to have.

One gorgeous floor after another. I am very partial to harlequin tiles….
Having a nice entry way is so important to me! x

I love the last photo of the bench and round mirror! How many inches would you suggest when hanging a mirror like that over a bench? It’s hard to tell at placement looking at the photo. I just bought a mirror like this for my entryway, and have a bench too.
Hey there! Im in love with your Blog content. Im planning on hanging a round mirror on my new apt entrance, but I have no idea of the mirror measurements , Help out a new follower !!! Hoping to hear from you soon. Best of lucks with your page.
Thanks, Crisbell. I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question. I think you’ll need to wait until the mirror arrives and you can measure then?
