textile designer Rebecca Atwood is debuting her first book today, Living with Pattern: Color, Texture and Print at Home and is it ever a beautiful book she should be truly very proud of. Pattern is a tool to share your story, and in her new book, Rebecca helps us discover how to do this. how to create a home that’s livable, layered, and interesting, and most importantly a reflection of your personal history and taste. pattern can be personal and genuine, not just trendy — and the book helps you translate your story and what you love into your home environment, looking at the relationship between color, texture and pattern, and building a palette and pairing patterns to make a cohesive collection within your home. Living with Pattern: Color, Texture and Print at Home encourages us to create homes that are rich, multidimensional, and truly unique. the book’s photography is stunning, and of course, i had to share images of my favorite hues — the pinks, the blushes and the neutrals — but rebecca’s book covers so many more palettes — one that i’m sure will speak to you. included in the book are also some of Rebecca’s favorite shopping resources, and some fun DIY projects, like the sweet polka-dot print pillows below. it’s definitely one book you’ll want in your design library.

That color palette photo is stunning. I was a difficult convert to blush/pink, but I am a true believer now!
i think adding black gives it an edge, and makes it much less girly! :)
Love this!!! My house is full of patterns. I never tire of them and because the space is filled with things I love, it works somehow. Like an outfit. Like art.
Love this book! Thanks for sharing. :)
And I was too tempted. Just bought the book. :)
Very bold and creative! Thank you for sharing your home
So gorgeous!
