holiday hibernation, anyone?

this house just says hunker down for the holidays and stay inside where it’s all warm and cozy. i love all the layered textures — loose natural slipcovers and big fluffy pillows, and that beautiful wool rug across some of the prettiest, worn in looking wood floors. i love the wabi-sabi vintage wood dining table in the kitchen too — it’s just a little off kilter, but it looks like the perfect space to share a meal, hang out while cooking, or get to baking some holiday cookies. all and all this home just looks comfy-cozy and a great space to be lazy, which is what i’m most looking forward to over the christmas break. a holiday hibernation is sounding pretty great, right about now.

  1. well, this sounds just about perfect right now. love the idea of holiday hibernation. i think this is my most favorite ever. that first photo just stopped me…

  2. Am also feeling like major hibernation is in order over the hols, catch up on reading and finish watching Rectify! Beautiful home, lots to be inspired by.

  3. Gorgeous. I ventured over to the “entrance” website, and all I can say is that it’s amazing. Darn those Swedes with their French door windows and yards of undyed linen!

  4. Would love to know the source of the lamps in that house, the one above the couch and the sliding one in the kitchen are great.
