i’ve long been a fan of general store founders and creative couple Serena Mitnik-Miller and her architect husband Mason St. Peter. we’ve blogged about their beautiful store in san francisco’s outer sunset and their L.A. store in Venice, too — both are worth a visit, but if you’re not local you’re still in luck because there’s always their online shop. however, it’s their latest project, their rural topanga canyon home that i’m currently drooling over. i’ve been spying it on instagram, but was thrilled to see it most recently featured in domino. perhaps because i’ve got similarly white beamed ceilings i’ve been watching the transformation of their stunning space with keen interest, but it could be because it’s just that the place is simply awe-inspiring. rustic and cozy, their home is the kind of place you just want to disappear to for weeks on end — it looks very hard to leave. have a look and i think you’ll see what i mean — and for the full tour and shopping resources, visit domino.

Their home is GORGEOUS. It’s like I’ve happened upon some dream sequence in which everything is absolutely perfect. How stunning.
Rustic, white, and bright? This is my kind of space!
