i am nothing if not a book worm. you may have noticed the first thing i did when i moved into my new house was to build floor to ceiling built-in bookcases as fast as we possibly could. when i move, i lug my book collection along the way, causing movers everywhere serious back pain (sorry guys, they are not dead bodies but beloved hardbound treasures). but not only do i love my reading my books, i really love the way they look in a home, too. what is it they say, “A Bookshelf is the Window to the Soul”? great books abound and although reading on an ipad can save your eyes at night, there’s nothing ever like the real thing. here are some books getting their just due in decor.

I love your blog and style! Do you have any recommendations for interior designers in SF?
Thanks, Katy! My favorite is Grant K. Gibson!

We have lugged our book collection around the world, when we have moved, currently we probably have one of the best selections of English books in France! Books are so many things, more than just something fabulous to read or a coffee table book to browse through, I also think they add warmth and a feeling of cosines and contentment to a room.
I am in love with your book photos montage! I’m a complete bookworm too, and I can’t help but have stacks of books all over the place haha!
They’re so beautiful. I hope you’re having a lovely Thursday, this post really brightened my day!
