when in london last week, we kind of accidentally discovered the west end area of Marylebone. The main neighborhood shops are along Marylebone High Street and we fell instantly in love with its charming narrow side streets, sweet boutiques and cafes. so i can see why fashion designer Anna Valentine chose this spot for both her studio and her Georgian-style home just walking distance away. it’s spare, but bright and quite beautiful and well thought out — almost like her design studio itself. featured recently in elle decoration you can find the full tour and more about the couture designer on their site.

  1. Many, many years ago I lived in Marylebone Street, just behind Marylebone High Street. It was always lively and busy and full of interesting nooks and crannies. I re-visited recently and was amazed to find how it was exactly the same…yet completely different. Most of the shops had changed, many of the pubs had gone but it still had the same air. Always felt very un-London. More like Paris. I am glad that you enjoyed it in the springtime. London’s finest time.

  2. Really Love The Sofa in the center of the spacious room. It certainly is adding a unique touch to the appearance if the room. The Paintings containing minimal art also looks very appealing.
