gosh i really love this light-filled house featured recently on domino. it’s a newlywed couple’s Brooklyn brownstone built in 1890 with all the special trimmings that come with a home so old — beautiful hardwood floors, fireplaces, killer crown moldings. all the things that make homes built back then so uniquely wonderful. so, of course, the home had great bones to begin with, but i admire what they’ve done with it so much — it’s spare but also so warm. it just looks so clean and fresh to me and makes me want to dash about my house getting rid of clutter! their kitchen is super dreamy, too — i love that pegboard and the minimalist but oh so charming dining nook with black thonet chairs. what’s not to like here, huh? for the full tour, visit domino.
