it’s hard to imagine sitting down to decide on this colorful decor palette, but as is typical with the french savoir faire, this somehow all works. a design project of fusion D, this paris penthouse is an eclectic mix of color housed in a centuries-old building, and it all looks quite modern and fresh, especially paired with that exquisite architecture. the challenge for the design firm was satisfying the client’s contemporary taste in such a classically french apartment, complete with herringbone hardwood floors, coved ceilings and ornate crown moldings, but i love the unexpected and somewhat scandinavian vibe. have a look.

It’s all pretty but in every shot my eyes go to that herringbone floor. You could put anything in those rooms and it would look good. Happily, the designers put in pretty things.
What a stunning space!

So pretty…love the classical details combined with modern and french furnishings.
So pretty. Feels very fresh with the blend of traditional French style and modern. Love it!
