simple is sometimes so calming, isn’t it? it’s such a complicated time in our country, so i guess i’m just drawn to the simple elegance in these pretty spaces. they seem like the kind of places you could rest your mind for a while and think a little more clearly. uncluttered and organized — the place i’d like to get my head to. happy friday, y’all. i hope you have a restful weekend! xo, victoria

  1. love this little shed an architect built for himself, via dwell magazine.
  2. i could just lay down here and take a long sweet nap, via remodelista.
  3. this looks like a peaceful spot to sit and write down some new ideas, via royal roulette.
  4. a few elegant spaces: a simple bar cart; a great looking black armoire, or two; and another great writing desk.
  5. this is one very elegant and zen kitchen.
  6. and lastly, a very chill and beautifully simple bathroom.

    I am seeing a “flying saucer-like disc which looks like brass, as a hanging wall light. This light has been featured on The Scandinavian Home blog as well as several others w/o sourcing information.
    It is a fantastic looking light. If you know what I am referencing and have a source, I would greatly appreciate it.
