i hit the rose bowl flea market today, in search of the perfect vintage credenza or dresser. i saw plenty and at very good prices, but nothing that hit just the right spot. i’m on the hunt for a long, low credenza for the bedroom and something in a light wood. all the ones i came across today were much too dark. so my search continues! i’d like something mid-century modern and fairly simple — so i’m searching chairish, etsy and craigslist. i looked a few new options, too but they haven’t the character i’m hoping for. i just love these looks.

I just saw this credenza on EBTH — not sure if it fits your requirements but wanted to share in case it did.

Enjoy the hunt! The samples you shared are gorgeous!
oh, thank you Kim! that’s a nice one, but a bit too long for me. but thanks for the link!
What’s your ideal wood tone? Maple? Ash? White oak? Or something darker?
I thin white oak. But I did find one on Chairish! :)
A good credenza is one of the most beautiful and functional pieces possible.
Not sure if you’re familiar with this – Homestead – they specialize in MCM and have credenzas regularly.

thanks so much, Cat! I found one!
What is the name and brand of the wooden rocking chair on the first photo? Love it!
That’s the Euvira rocking chair by Jader Almeida:
