rattan has been my jam for a while now, but i’m really seeing it everywhere as of late. i think it’s because it can lend itself to a lot of different decors — from a mid-century modern vibe to Scandinavian simplicity or an eclectic bohemian modern look, rattan and bamboo are ideally flexible — the perfect little mixer. i started my love affair long before i bought my vintage french daybed and have always incorporated rattan into my rooms. i’m just a big fan of their light, clean and very feminine lines and a kind of neutrality that makes them a practical purchase since they can be utilized in so many ways — from a beside chair, to a mismatched dining set, or an additional lounger in your living room, rattan is all the rage. when i was last in france i bought up a bunch of vintage finds to add to super marché in january — beautiful bamboo daybeds and some divine bucket chairs. coming soon, but in the meantime, should you like the look, we’ve got quite a few pieces in the shop: a petite coffee table, a sunburst mirror, an armchair, plant hangers and a rattan lounge chair.

I love how natural rattan looks in a home!

I love rattan, too, and get so many compliments on my vintage bar stools. However, one broke some rattan on the seat. Do you happen to have anyone up your sleeve who fixes vintage rattan in the bay? I would love to bring the broken one back to life. Thought I’d ask just in case. Thx!
