connecting during the holidays.

one of the best things about moving back to los angeles is that instead of traveling and spending excessive time in airports i’m closer and more connected to my family here. i now get to host christmas each year and it’s something i really look forward to. plus i get to decorate! this year i opted for a small tree (in a vintage pickle jar no less!) and a display of a lot of christmas memorabilia from childhood — like the stocking my mum made me when i was just a little girl. with everyone joining me at home this year, i was thrilled when NETGEAR invited me to try out their Orbi Whole Home WiFi System so everyone can stay connected while we’re lounging and cooking. my nieces desperately need to text, instagram and snapchat and my mum might freak out if she can’t play words with friends and my brother needs to check in with his cycling stats or he’ll lose his mind. i too, like the ability to look up christmas recipes as i’m cooking so Orbi lets us all do our own thing without slowing us down. and since i don’t have a television set, we can also all watch holiday movies (miracle on 34th street, anyone?) together on my large desktop screen.

Wi-Fi is the next utility and as technology has become universal in our everyday lives, hardware manufacturers need to build products that meet both the performance and design needs of our modern homes and the Orbi does just that. and with a super sleek design, it blends right into your decor without a lot of wires and mechanics and the Orbi Whole Home WiFi System covers up to 5,000 square feet! and it blends perfectly, is easy to set up using color LEDs that guide you through the simplest setup process and it also easily works with your existing service provider’s equipment so you’ll enjoy better WiFi everywhere. to learn more about Orbi, visit Orbi here. here’s to happy families over the holidays, everyone!

  1. I do like your tree. Oddly, I have been considering a smaller tree on a table recently and may go down that route next year. I have become a little tired of really big trees. Something wasteful there. Have an excellent time.
