surprise, surprise, paris has yet another tea and treat house calling our names. this time around it’s the adorable maison aleph, that graces the 4th arrondissement with wafting smells of fresh pastries. plot twist: it’s not classically french -— aleph offers flavors and traditions from founder myriam sabet’s childhood in syria. the robin egg blue interiors are welcoming after a cold jaunt through the chilly streets, and offer a place to refuel and reminisce before taking the plunge back out into winter in paris. rows of pastry cases are like museum installations in these parts and are the main visual attraction at maison aleph. pick your poison, and huddle up with a good read. we’re currently devouring the vanity fair diaries by tina brown. it’s a wonderful peek into the shenanigans of the long-time editor-in-chief.

  1. This looks like the cutest place, I adore the floor and the mirrors! It would be lovely to visit on a trip to Paris as a break from all the french food, as much as I love it sometimes it is nice to have something different. That COS dress is gorgeous too, I definitely need to check out their new collection !
