it’s no secret that vintage bamboo daybeds are back in style, but have you thought about them for le bébé? the french daybeds make for some very serious child style, as you can see from these sweet spaces. we’ve had a hard time keeping them in stock at super marché ever since i brought mine home from elsie green, and now when i peruse children’s magazines, like milk and european blogs, i’m seeing these pretty bamboo daybeds everywhere and even fashioned as chic cribs and baby’s bassinets. here’s a look at some very adorable children’s bedrooms featuring these vintage finds as the pièce de résistance.

If you happen to find a bassinet, I’m all over it! ;)
egads…
while these are the sweet to look at, the infant ones can’t possible by safe by today’s standards! Do babies really sleep in the crib-type ones!?!
Those cribs….
I have one for my child, and I lined the inside with padding covered in cotton fabric. I have sewn it to the crib itself so no cords that can be pulled loose or anything. Of course it looks a little less appealing on photo’s, but at least I can be sure that my little one is safe and comfortable!
I absolutely love these beds! Wicker furniture is the best <3
