color palette: pink + yellow.

as chelsea mentioned in her color story post monday, it seems as though those golden hues of summer are beginning to dwindle making way for fall. i’m looking forward to sweater weather (as much as we get here in sunny L.A.!) but i’ll miss these days full of freedom, and sunshine. one way to hold onto summer is perhaps decorating with a combination of pink and yellow — the color of the perfect sunset — so uplifting and filled with promise and good spirits much like a wes anderson movie. i gathered as much of the color pairing as i was able to find (and honestly had to edit a bit i found so much inspiration!). i hope they’ll inspire you, too.

  1. Love how you whacked us in the eye with this brilliant colour combination. Also loved the subtle beginning and end to bring us up and down. Wonderful!
