this is such a dreamy space — and it all starts with that stunning mural. this is the paris home of stylist and designer Laura Gauthier Petit’s — her lovely loft was featured recently on elle decoration. the founder of the Fête Impériale brand, laura lives with her family in the Marais district of Paris (my favorite neighborhood), just a few blocks from her husband’s restaurant Istr, and her own fashion studio in the heart of Paris. It took some time to find the perfect place to call home, but given the results of over two years of renovating, they’ve re-envisioned an old attic into a fantastic apartment with unbeatable 360 views of the paris rooftops. i love the unexpected whimsy of the space — playful prints and eclectic pairings always inspire me. have a look around!

Hi Victoria,
I am a long time reader of your blog. Do you have any idea where that amazing patterned fitted carpet is from? I have just just moved into a 1960s property and am dying to find some fitted carpets like this one. Thanks for posting such interesting and beautiful content!
Hi Emily,
Thanks so much for reading! That is one incredible carpet, but I’m not sure where to find something like that – it almost looks custom to me. I’ll look around and see if I can find some resources for you. Cheers!
What about that amazing gray couch? id love to find something like that!!
