i’m still obsessing over the open beamed ceilings. sorry — this could go on for a while, because i just can’t get enough of this modern, albeit rustic look. i’m seeing it everywhere i go these days and i’ve got a contractor looking at my kitchen ceiling in the hopes i can demolish that low, boring ceiling and break on through to the beautiful beams and give them a lovely whitewashing. it could be rough up there, but i think i’m okay with the imperfection and i in fact, like the less than perfect look. but today here’s a look at all kinds of white, open-beamed ceilings and even a little shiplap that i am loving too. who needs plain old white walls when you can have interesting texture and cozy ambiance?

Ok, so nice to know that I am not the only one who is obsessed with these white beams!!! I am thinking about seeing if I can get my contractor to install as well… This was a nicely curated post. Thanks for sharing!
All the best,
