today we’re headed to a beautiful boutique hotel in philly as they call it — Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s largest city, notable for its rich history. meet the lokal hotel, a mash-up of those classic navy blue good looks and a touch of Scandinavian vintage modern. designed by that talented husband & wife team Jersey Ice Cream Company who wanted to create a hotel that felt a little bit more like home, with all the amenities you might crave while sleeping under someone’s else’s roof. warm, cozy and filled with vintage treasures, you know they grabbed my attention immediately with those vintage portrait paintings. we’re thinking of arriving in style, but a little bit on the down-low: our favorite faded denim, a cozy striped sweater and a warm navy Oversized Wool Coat, but we’ve jazzed this ensemble up a bit with some patent leather mustard-colored boots. when you have some downtime, we suggest a great read: Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, a smart, warm, and uplifting story of an out-of-the-ordinary heroine whose deadpan weirdness and unconscious wit make for an irresistible journey as she realizes the only way to survive is to open your heart. what better place than in the city of brotherly love?

When I clicked on the link to the hotel, I noticed it is Lokal not Lokai. Oops!
Um, before too many people read this post, you might want to get the name of the hotel fixed. It appears to be LOKAL (with two L’s), not Lokai (which sounds like you’re hoping for some Hawaiian vacation time). I followed your link, but it also says LOKAL right in photo of the front of the hotel.
