happy friday everyone! i write this from a very rainy day in L.A. and if truth be told, i’m still in my robe and in bed, with lucy curled up at my feet. somedays, working from home really has its perks. i’m feeling very bohemian vibes today so this week’s friday finds are putting me in my happy place. i hope you find some happy inspiration here today, too. have a great weekend, one and all!

  1. i love everything about this photograph — the textures, the color palette and definitely the mood. it’s just a simple Wash basin at Mimmo Vestita Ceramics but captured so beautifully by photographer carla coulson. visit her website for more of her visit to Grottaglie — an italian town devoted to making ceramics.
  2. how about these ceramic tile floors? you can actually visit them in person because this is a rental apartment in rome called casa moreno and the entire place is just deamy! for more information about staying in this beautiful abode, click right here.
  3. i’m always a big fan of leaning artwork against our walls for an effortlessly chic look. this apartment featured in milk decoration does it perfectly and milk remains a constant if not number one source of decor inspiration for me.
  4. speaking of effortless chic — this living room, this aqua velvet sofa is it!! it’s the home of london-based Fashion Stylist & Writer Monikh Dale and i highly suggest following her instagram for more juicy inspiration.
  5. this cozy corner booth is calling my name — those wall tiles! sigh. apparently it’s the Milk and Roses Bistro in Greenpoint and i simply must get there, pronto-like. i just wanna sit here for hours on a new york chilly day soaking it all in.
  6. this is a perfect little nook, too, is it not? that painting pulls it all together, but the lighting fixture, simple shelf and sweet bench all work together so well. they’ve simply nailed it!
  7. if you’ve seen my dining room you know i’m a supporter of mismatched dining chairs and this set up is just divine. none of these chairs ever knew they’d live together, but they seem to get along famously!
  8. this unexpected and very bold print upholustry in an otherwise pretty neutral, chill living room looks fabulous and make a perfect statement. it’s the inspiring home of Fanny Moizant — check it out!
